The Fuel Her Flight Scholarship supports young women with dreams tied to aviation and travel—whether that means flying lessons, attending an aviation camp, exploring a new country, or simply taking their first solo trip. If it helps you take flight—literally or figuratively—we’re here to help.

💰 Scholarship Award

Amount per Recipient: $1,000
Number of Awards: 3
Use of Funds:
- Flight lessons or simulator time
- Aviation or travel-related programs, camps, or meetups
- Travel expenses (airfare, luggage, gear)
- Passport or visa application fees
- FAA exams or prep
- A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore aviation in your own way

Applications Open August 1, 2025

Deadline to Apply January 15, 2026

Recipients Announced April 15, 2026

Funds Distributed April 30, 2026

All recipients will be invited to our first annual “A Night at the Hangar” Celebration Gala in October 2026.

✅ Who Can Apply

You must:

Identify as a girl or woman
Have a dream, plan, or goal connected to aviation or travel
Be a resident of the U.S. or Nigeria (2025 pilot countries)

No GPA or resume required.
Just a real reason to take flight—and a willingness to share your why.

✍️ How to Apply

You’ll need:

A short essay (300–500 words) answering:
“What does flying mean to you, and how would this scholarship support your journey?”
Optional: A 1–2 minute video introducing yourself
Proof or plan for your trip/goal (confirmation, budget, or description)
Optional: A letter of recommendation from a mentor or teacher
